![]() ![]() If I could get a suggestion on how to pull if my idea of using another Mac Mini as a mirror or maybe if I could get linked software that could connect using AFP from Windows I'd highly appreciate it. The Mac can access the shared folders and drives on my PC and my server (server has both AFP and SMB enabled)In system preferences sharing File Sharing Options. I know this seems overly complicated and you're probably scratching your head as to why I'm not just using SMB but I can't, there are too many computers on the network connecting to the server and SMB causes a lot of issues when multiple hosts are connected, AFP does so without a problem but SMB causes other connections to hang and disconnect, I can't afford to use SMB with this many computers. 2015 rMBP OSX 10.11.1 attempting to be have shared folders accessed to by Windows 10 custom build PC.Suddenly I can no longer access my Mac from my PC on my network. ![]() I had a couple ideas like maybe using another Mac Mini as a mirror (connecting to Mac Mini 1 using AFP with Mac Mini 2 then connecting from the Windows PC with SMB to Mac Mini 2 then relaying the information to the Windows PC) I have a Mac Mini server that's using AFP (Apple Filling Protocol) and I cannot use SMB on the Mac Mini under any circumstance. I've searched online for this quite a lot and so far I found unrelated or poor answers so I'll just ask this question myself.
